What is Port Macquarie's Fascination Trail?

A visit to Port Macquarie can contain an amazing range of experiences. Apart from the sunny beaches and wonderful scenery Port has a rich history and is home to many organisations that can fascinate visitors and create wonderful memories.

The Fascination Trail is an initiative of Port Macquarie Observatory and is supported primarily by many of Port Macquarie’s other non-profit organisations with great stories to tell.  It is a way of helping visitors find out about some of the amazing history and experiences to be found in our city. Many of these experiences are very low cost and provide a rich satisfying way to spend part of a visit.

Our non-profit organisations encompass a range of industries and interests for all ages.  They are staffed by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about the stories that their organisation can tell and would love to share them.  Some major local community spirited organisations that also provide a wide range of visitor experiences also support their non-profit counterparts and take part in the Trail.
