The Players Theatre is not only a 230 seat venue providing entertainment for the Port Macquarie and Hastings region, but our vision is to enhance connection to community to ensure continuity and growth for an existing valued community asset.

The theatre is therefore available for hire to outside organisations and our costume department includes an extensive range of theatrical and party costumes for hire.

Facilities include the following:

• A licensed bar where theatre snacks are available to purchase before a show and at interval. 

• One (1) 3 phase power outlet that may be used by the hirer for additional lights on stage; suitable for a 12 outlet (2400W per outlet) dimmer.

• SOUND: 32 channel sound desk, 10 x headset mics, 2 x handheld mics. Flown foldback. FX processor. Feed to dressing rooms and foyer.

• Three dressing rooms of the following capacity:

  • Dressing room #1:
    16 capacity

  • Dressing room #2:
    12 capacity

  • Dressing #3:
    12 capacity

  • There is no Green Room

• Tickets can be sold through the Players Theatre Box Office via SABO.

• Ticket printing on request for a flat fee. Hirer can also sell their own tickets.

• A crew of casual theatre technicians available for performances.

• A mailing list and annual membership for those interested in keep up to date with our shows and activities.
